Tunjungan Plaza announced to the public that the operation of the shopping center was closed since 19.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, several hotspots were seen at the T-junction around the Tegalsari Police Headquarters.

Police officers have formed barricades to dispel the masses who demonstrated to prevent the spread of action in the central area of Surabaya.

As of 21.00 p.m., most of the masses had withdrawn to the T-junction of Jalan Embong Gayam towards Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Surabaya.

This happened after several times the police fired tear gas which forced the mass of action to stay away from police barricades at the Tegalsari Police.

Public transportation belonging to the community entering Jalan Basuki Rahmat from Jalan Raya Darmo has also been directed to Jalan Kombes M Duryat.

At that point there was a traffic jam due to the accumulation of vehicles that wanted to leave the protest site.

In addition, several vehicles went against the flow of traffic through Jalan Basuki Rahmat to Jalan Raya Darmo and Jalan Kombes Pol Duryat to avoid crowds.
