The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the distribution of 20,000 additional hajj quotas from the Saudi Arabian government that have problems through Ishfah Abidal Azis alias Gus Alex, former special staff of the Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.

"During the examination, investigators studied their knowledge of the split in the additional quota," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, August 27.
The KPK suspects that Ishfah knows the process of shifting 20,000 additional hajj quotas to 50 percent each for regular and special.
"The person concerned as a staff member of the minister at that time was suspected of knowing the shifting processes of the additional quota of 20,000, which was originally planned if a splitting (separation) was 92 percent for regular and 8 percent for special like that," he said.
