The Cilincing Police Criminal Investigation Unit raided room 301, Hotel Coins, Jalan Sunter Agung Utara Raya, Block A, RW 18, Sunter Agung Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta.

From the raid, one ecstasy dealer with the initials SBA alias B was arrested by the police.

"The suspect is a courier and dealer of ecstasy or inex," said Cilincing Police Chief AKP Bobi Subasri to reporters, Wednesday, August 26, 2025.

Furthermore, the police again arrested the 'big boss' who supplied the ecstasy with the initials MH alias J in Medan, North Sumatra.

The arrests of the two perpetrators began with public information regarding the circulation of ecstasy by the suspect with the initials SBA alias B in one of the rooms of Hotel Coins, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok.

The police then carried out an investigation that led to a raid on the hotel room.

From the results of the raid, 675 ecstasy narcotics were confiscated.

"The ecstasy pills are colored with the logo of the letter 'RR'," he said.

From the arrest of the suspect SBA alias B, the police then conducted an investigation and interrogation of the suspect SBA alias B.

The suspect SBA alias B also 'singed' that the ecstasy was obtained from a large boss with the initials MH alias J in the Medan area.

After the development was carried out, it was discovered that the suspect with the initials MH alias J was in the Medan area, North Sumatra.

The Cilincing Police then coordinated with the North Sumatra Police. Furthermore, the Cilincing Police Criminal Investigation Unit chased the perpetrator MH alias J who was in Medan, North Sumatra.

"The suspect MH alias J was arrested in a rented house in Medan City, North Sumatra," he said.

Furthermore, the two suspects with the initials SBA alias B and MH alias J were taken to the Cilincing Police for further processing.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilincing Police, AKP AKP M. Fauzan Yonnadi, said that the evidence confiscated was clear plastic containing 485 grams of ecstasy with a gross weight of 179.68 grams.

"Then one clear plastic containing 190 ecstasy pills with a gross weight of 72.32 grams. The total total evidence of ecstasy was 675 pills," said AKP M. Fauzan.

For their actions, the two SBA suspects alias B and MH alias J were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) Subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics related to criminal acts of narcotics abuse.

"The two suspects are threatened with a maximum imprisonment of 20 years or life imprisonment or the death penalty," he said.
