No Longer In Uniform, 2 Tangerang Police Lose Retirement Rights

TANGERANG - A total of two members of the Tangerang City Police (Polresta), Banten Police, were sentenced to dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) or dismissal for violating the discipline and code of ethics of the Police while on duty.

Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Pol Andi Muhammad Indra Waspada Amirullah said that of the two members who were fired, they were Bripka M and Bripka PP.

"Both of them were dishonorably dismissed so they did not get pension rights," said Andi, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 27.

He said, as a form of serious commitment in enforcing disciplinary and behavioral rules, PTDH was symbolized by deleting photos of both members of the code of ethics violators.

"PTDH's decision was not taken in a short time. It took a very long process and the leadership's consideration was quite heavy," he said.

According to him, this decision to dishonorable dismissal is not a form of disfavoration of institutions or leaders to members. Rather, it is a form of commitment for the leadership of the National Police for the good of institutions and a deterrent effect for personnel who commit violations.

"With this PTDH, I remind you that this is used as a lesson, when you become a member of the National Police, you are expected to follow Tribrata and appreciate Catur Presetya," he said.

Indra invites all members to continue to increase faith and piety as a spiritual foundation in carrying out their duties.

"It is hoped that there will be guidance not to commit violations or irregularities," he said.
