The Criminal Investigation Unit of the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Area Police has named six suspects in the beating of security officers in the taxi parking area of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Arrival Airport.
Head of the Public Relations Section of the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Area Police, Ipda I Gede Suka Artana, confirmed the arrest and determination of the suspect.
The perpetrators are IT (26), ATN (29), MLS (28), AIS (25), TN (20), and MIW (26).
The perpetrators all came from Badung Regency, Bali.
Artana explained that the incident of beating security officers at Ngurah Rai Airport stemmed from the dissatisfaction of a group of LJ cooperative taxi drivers against the policy of the central online taxi company which limits the number of orders.

As a result of the beating, two victims were injured, namely Kadek PP (33) from Gianyar with bruises on his left cheek and shoulders, and Kadek AK (27) from Kuta with cuts on his chest and bruises on his face.

After being questioned by investigators, the perpetrators were charged with Article 170 Paragraph (1) 1 e of the Criminal Code regarding the criminal act of beatings with a maximum imprisonment of 5 years and 6 months.
