JAKARTA - The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Pakistan Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo on Friday (22/8) handed over President Prabowo Subianto's Letter of Trust to Asif Pakistani President Ali Zardari.
According to information from the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad, Saturday (23/8), Ambassador Chandra, who wore traditional Teluk Belanga clothes and accompanied by Tamara Yuanita Sukotjo's wife, was picked up by protocol officials from the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Wisma Duta Besar at the Indonesian Embassy Complex to the presidential palace Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Arriving at the palace environment, the Indonesian Ambassador was greeted by the Head of State Protocol who then took him by train to the aiwan-e-Sadr courtyard to receive military respect.
With the submission of the Certificate, Ambassador Chandra has officially become the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During his meeting with the President of Pakistan, Ambassador Chandra conveyed warm greetings from the President of the Republic of Indonesia and was ready to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries which had been going well so far.
