The Mataram District Attorney (Kejari), West Nusa Tenggara, has begun examining the case files belonging to six suspects in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of COVID-19 masks in the 2020 fiscal year.
Head of the Intelligence Section of the Mataram Kejari Harun Al Rasyid said the file was received from Mataram Police investigators on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
"Yes, we just received the file last Wednesday. We are currently investigating it," said Harun when confirmed in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, August 21.
Head of the Mataram Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Regi Halili confirmed the transfer of the case file. According to him, the file was submitted after the investigator completed the investigation process and the completeness of the evidence.
"So, now we are waiting for the results of the research from the prosecutor. If there are clues, of course we will complete them again," said Regi.
Investigators divided six suspects into three case files. One file contains four suspects, namely Wirajaya Kusuma, Cholid Tomassoang Bulu, Kamaruddin, and M. Hariyadi Wahyudi. The four of them are the procurement committee of the NTB Cooperatives and SMEs Service.
Meanwhile, two other suspects, Rabiatul Adawiyah and Dewi Noviany, were each included in separate files.
"Yes, so the files are three. Four suspects in one file, then R (Rabiatul Adawiyah) one file, and N (Dewi Noviany) one file," explained Regi.
In the investigation process, the police have examined at least 120 witnesses and presented experts. In addition, investigators have obtained audit results from the NTB Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), which found state losses of Rp1.58 billion from the total procurement project value of Rp12.3 billion.
Based on these findings, the six suspects were charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 jo. Article 18 of Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, as well as Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
