Messneg Regarding Wamenaker Arrested By KPK: If Proven, Replace It As Soon As Possible

Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said President Prabowo Subianto would definitely replace Immanuel Ebenezer alias Noel from the position of Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) if he was proven involved in a corruption case.

Immanuel Ebenezer was caught by the Hand Catch Operation (OTT) conducted by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Noel is suspected of extorting money related to the management of work safety and health certification (K3).

"If it is proven later, a replacement will be carried out as soon as possible," said Prasetyo Hadi to reporters, Thursday, August 21.

According to him, President Prabowo has received information about the OTT. The President invited the KPK to carry out the legal process according to the rules.

"He said that it is the realm of law. He respects the process at the KPK and is welcome for the legal process to be carried out properly," he said.

In addition, Prasetyo Hadi said the government was very concerned about the existence of a member of the Red and White Cabinet who was caught by the OTT.

This is because President Prabowo, called the Minister of State Secretary, always reminded all members of the Red and White Cabinet not to abuse their authority on duty.

"Of course, as the President has repeatedly reminded us all that we need to continue to be careful. Our spirit is the spirit not to abuse the mandate given to all of us and therefore we express deep concern," said Prasetyo.
