Central Java Deputy Police Chief Meets Oil Well Fire Victims In Blora

Blora - Deputy Chief of Central Java Police Brigadier General Pol Latif Usman visited the location of an oil well fire in Gandu Village, Bogorejo District, Blora, Wednesday, August 20, 2025. This visit aims to provide moral support and social assistance to the refugees and affected victims.

During his visit, the Deputy Chief of Police was accompanied by a number of officials, including the Head of Propam of the Central Java Police, the Regent of Blora, the Dandim, and the Head of the Blora Police, AKBP Wawan Andi Susanto. Arriving at the location, Brigadier General Latif Usman expressed his deep concern over the tragedy that occurred.

"We from the Central Java Regional Police are sorry for the fire that happened to the residents here," said Brigadier General Latif Usman, in a written statement, Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

He hopes that the assistance provided from the Central Java Police Chief can slightly ease the burden on the victims and their families left behind.

In addition, the Deputy Chief of Police also emphasized that the Central Java Police will continue to follow the development of the disaster mitigation. This is a form of the seriousness of the police in ensuring that the handling of the problem goes smoothly and thoroughly.

He also expressed his appreciation to the volunteers who have worked hard to help the disaster management process. "Hopefully this assistance will be useful and a motivation for all of us to continue to synergize," he added.

The activity which took place starting at 11.00 WIB was filled with symbolic delivery of compensation and dialogue with the victims and volunteers. This visit confirms the police's commitment to always be present in the community, especially when facing disasters.
