Pramono: DKI Provincial Government And BTN Cooperation To Develop Ancol And JIS

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung through two regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) namely PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol and PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) signed a strategic partnership with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN).

This collaboration includes the development of the tourism sector, sports tourism, financial services, and infrastructure in Jakarta, especially in assets managed by Ancol and Jakpro.

"I am the most happy person because in this case I encourage Ancol and JIS to improve existing facilities. I am very grateful that the State Savings Bank participated in the strategic partner. I am sure this will slowly improve Jakarta's face," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, August 19.

Meanwhile, the MoU between BTN and Ancol includes sponsorship cooperation, corporate branding activities, product activation, as well as financial support and banking services from BTN in the tourist area north of Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the MoU with Jakpro is focused on developing infrastructure and branding in the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area.

"BTN as a financial partner, Jakpro as an infrastructure developer, and Ancol as a tourist destination is the right combination to make this happen," said Pramono.

The DKI Provincial Government is currently building a bridge connecting JIS and the Ancol area. Pramono revealed that this bridge functions as a walking access for JIS visitors who park their vehicles in Ancol.

"I imagine if there are big events, whether it's football matches, concerts and so on. People no longer park everything at JIS. It's easiest through Ancol. Parking in Ancol," he said.

Meanwhile, BTN President Director Nixon Napitupulu stated that his party is ready to become a financial partner for the development of JIS infrastructure to the provision of digital payment services in Ancol with a cooperation value that touches billions of rupiah.

"We can brand bridges to JIS and in Ancol we will also have special branding cooperation later. So we want to present a more digital payment system in Ancol so that it is cashless and makes it easier for the public to access Ancol and JIS later," explained Nixon.

In addition, BTN and the DKI Provincial Government also have a discourse to hold exhibitions and halal bazaars entitled Halal Fair. According to him, this activity has great potential because Indonesia is a country with a majority Muslim population.

"Later, we will increase the Jakarta Halal Fair brand, so that Jakarta, apart from the tourism industry, can also be seen that we really encourage religious tourism to also be in Jakarta," he added.
