"During the work on the jacking and crossing channels, there will be a reduction or narrowing of the road," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo in his statement, Monday, August 11.
Syafrin said the construction project would take place from August 11 to December 22, 2025.
As an effort to optimize lane consistency during the long work, around 150 busway separators were demolished, so the Transjakarta bus became mixed traffic and was re-installed after the work was completed.
"If there is a traffic density, u-turn or back-turn in front of the Wika Tower building, a situational closure will be carried out and diverted to rotate above the Cawang underpass," explained Syafrin.
