DENPASAR - A young TNI AD soldier named Prada Lucky Namo died after undergoing intensive care at the Aeramo Hospital, Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara. Prada Lucky's death caught the public's attention after a video of the victim's family was widely circulated on social media.

Regional Military Command (Kodam) IX/Udayana through the Deputy Head of Information for Kodam (Waka Pendam), Lt. Col. Inf Amir Syarifudin, expressed his condolences for the incident. He emphasized that the investigation team is currently working to reveal the cause of Prada Lucky's death as a whole.

"We are sorry for the death of Prada Lucky. Hopefully the family left behind will be given strength and the deceased will be accepted by His side. Regarding this incident, we cannot convey in detail because the investigation process is ongoing," Amir said in his statement.

Amir added that the circulation of information on social media was an initial report that could not be used as a final conclusion. The investigation team is still collecting various data and statements from witnesses.

"Until now, about 20 people have been questioned as witnesses from the unit where Prada Lucky served. Of these, four people have been arrested by Subdenpom Kupang for further investigation," he explained.

He ensured that the investigation process would be carried out in a transparent and professional manner by prioritizing the principles of law and justice.

"We will juxtapose all the information obtained to find out which one is right and which one is not. The goal is not to cause unrest in the community," he said.

It is known that Prada Lucky died on Wednesday (6/8/2025) at 10.30 WITA after undergoing treatment for four days at the Aeramo Hospital. He has only joined the Indonesian Army as a soldier for two months, precisely since May 2025.

After completing his military education in Buleleng, Bali, Prada Lucky was placed in the 934 Waka Nga Mere Development Territorial Battalion, Nagekeo.
