The Ministry Of Law And Human Rights Of Central Java Ensures That The Handling Of Complaints Against Notaries Is In Accordance With Procedures

SEMARANG - Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) Central Java Region emphasized that the handling of public complaints related to alleged notary violations was carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.

Head of the Central Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Heni Susila Wardoyo, said that his ministry is committed to maintaining all reporting procedures, examinations, and the preparation of minutes to keep referring to the standard format that has been set.

"The Ministry of Law and Human Rights is committed to maintaining all procedures for reporting, checking, and making official reports still refer to the standard format set by the ministry," said Heni in Semarang, Antara, Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

A quick response to public complaints is still carried out by upholding the principles of prudence and compliance with regulations.

According to Heni, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights is also ready to facilitate if there are parties who are dissatisfied with the decision on the results of the examination, while still prioritizing the principle of kinship in resolving disputes.

"Notaries also always study the problems that arise and do not make it a personal matter," he said.

The settlement of alleged violations is carried out through the Regional Supervisory Council (MPD), as an institution that has the authority in accordance with applicable regulations.

In this process, the Central Java Ministry of Law and Human Rights also involved the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia as an external supervisory partner.

"We appreciate the active role of the Ombudsman who always monitors and supports improving service quality, including in terms of supervision of notaries," said Heni.

He added that the involvement of the Ombudsman is part of a collaborative effort in realizing transparent, accountable, and just public services.
