In front of the Congressional participants, Deputy Foreign Minister Anis also conveyed a number of updates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding diaspora, one of which was the formation of a new echelon II unit, namely the Directorate of Diaspora Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which will specifically handle diaspora affairs.

He also informed participants about the planned large activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Indonesian Film Festival and the Islamic World which are scheduled to be held in September 2025 in Jakarta.
