Bogor City Enters National Healthy City Nominations, Targets Wistara Predicate

BOGOR - Bogor City Government (Pemkot) participated in the Advanced Verification of the Regency/Healthy City Center Level (KKS) which took place in a hybrid manner at Paseban Sri Bima, Bogor City Hall, Tuesday, August 5.

This verification is part of the follow-up assessment process at the National Healthy City event which assesses the regional achievement of nine healthy city life sequences.

The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor City, Denny Mulyadi, said that Bogor City had been nominated for a national level assessment.

"Alhamdulillah, Bogor City has entered the national level nomination. Earlier there were several notes from 9 arrangements that needed to be improved. Hopefully we can get the results of the more optimal Swasti Saba Wistara," said Denny.

In this follow-up verification, the central team provided a number of notes and improvements to the results of document reviews and indicators.

He mentioned that of the total 136 indicators, there are around 20 that still need to be completed or corrected, especially in terms of regulation and completeness of document uploads.

"Our target is of course the highest, namely Swasti Saba Wistara. Hopefully within 2x24 hours we can correct the shortcomings earlier, especially in the health, education, and disaster sectors," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bogor City Healthy Forum, Deni Mulyana, explained that his party for the last two years had been actively socializing the concept of a healthy city to all urban villages.

"We are moving together to socialize indicators to the public, such as eradicating dengue fever through standby neighborhoods. We also help inform the lack of indicators from the previous assessment so that it can be improved," explained Deni.

He added, after further verification, the central assessment team will hold a comprehensive plenary assessment and is scheduled to conduct field verification to a number of locuses at the end of August or early September 2025.

"The final assessment will adjust between completeness of documents and real conditions in the field. With a strong synergy between the government and the community, I am sure that Bogor City can regain the title of Wistara," he concluded.

For information, the assessment team from the central level was present online through the Zoom application, while the Bogor City Government took part in activities offline in the same room.

Please note, the Swasti Saba Wistram award is the highest predicate or category in the health sector provided by the central government to districts/cities that have succeeded in achieving the title as a healthy area by fulfilling a number of stipulated conditions.
