JAKARTA - Former Minister of Trade (Mendag) Thomas Trikasih Lembong alias Tom Lembong was officially released from detention at the Class I Cipinang Detention Center, Jakarta. The release was after receiving an abolition from President Prabowo Subianto.

"We make sure tonight the person concerned can get out of custody," said the Director of Prosecution at the Attorney General's Office, Sutikno.
This assurance was conveyed by Sutikno after the AGO received a copy of Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 18 of 2025 regarding the abolition for Tom Lembong, from the Minister of Law (Menkum) Supratman Andi Agtas.
"The main contents (of the presidential decree) are all legal processes and the legal consequences are specifically for Mr. Tom Lembong to be abolished," he said.
