DKI Provincial Government Disburses IDR 50 Billion For Merger Of 3 Parks In Blok M

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung will combine 3 parks in Blok M area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, namely Langsat Park, Ayodya Park, and Leuser Park. The combination of the park is accompanied by arrangement and addition of public facilities.

Head of the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service, Fajar Sauri, said that the DKI Provincial Government disbursed a fee of IDR 50 billion for the arrangement of the three parks that will be merged. However, this funding does not use the APBD.

"The fee is Rp. 50,000 for three parks using building floor coefficients (KLB)," Fajar said when contacted, Friday, August 1.

It is planned that the groundbreaking process for the arrangement of the three parks to be combined will begin on August 8 and be completed by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, the South Jakarta City Government is processing the relocation of Barito Animal Market traders whose stalls line up in front of Langsat Park. The government gave traders until August 3 to vacate their stalls.

Reportedly, a number of traders from Pasar Barito still need additional time to move to temporary land that has been prepared by the DKI Provincial Government in the Pasar Minggu area.

From this, Fajar hopes that the Mayor of South Jakarta can get an agreement with traders to be relocated before the groundbreaking process begins.

"Maybe you can ask the mayor, because the temporary location has been prepared there. If you want to use it, it's ready," said Fajar.

In its arrangement, the three parks will be created with access that is open to the public. In addition, a jogging track will also be built around the park.

Then, a connecting access will be built in the form of a bridge between Langsat Park and Ayodya Park. Meanwhile, the connection between Langsat Park and Leuser Park will be built by pedestrian underpasses, considering that there are roads separating the two parks.

"So, we connect the Langsat Park with Ayodya Park with a bridge link. On Langsat we make a jogging track. Then to combine Langsat and Leuser there is a bridge that goes down under the road so that it can penetrate," he concluded.
