6 Suspected Of Being A Prostitute Arrested In Cibinong Bogor, 1 Man With A Nose Joins In Being Transported

The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) has arrested six women suspected of being Commercial Sex Workers (PSK) during an operation in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, from Wednesday, July 30, until early this morning.

Secretary of the Bogor Regency Satpol PP, Anwar Anggana, said the activity was a follow-up to public reports that were restless with immoral activities in a number of nightclubs.

The operation was carried out based on Bogor Regency Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2015 concerning Public Order and Bogor Regent Regulation Number 81 of 2021 concerning Procedures for Controlling Perda and/or Perbup Violations.

"This operation was carried out to maintain public order and community morality. We found six women who were indicated to practice prostitution, as well as one man suspected of being a service user," said Anwar in Cibinong, Thursday, as quoted by Antara.

He said the arrests were made at the DNZ karaoke entertainment venue located on Jalan Raya Cikaret, Harapan Jaya Village, Cibinong District. All suspected violators were taken to the Satpol PP office for further examination and data collection.

According to him, from the results of the examination and evidence found in the form of digital conversations, the six women admitted their involvement in the practice of prostitution. Furthermore, they were handed over to the Social Service for an assessment.

"After the data collection process, we sent the six women to the Social Rehabilitation Center in Cibadak, Sukabumi, for further guidance, while the man who was arrested made a statement," he said.

He explained that this operation involved internal elements of Satpol PP and external elements such as the Social Service and the TNI Garrison. The personnel deployed consisted of operations, prosecution, early detection, and other supporting staff.

Anwar emphasized that the activity was safe and smooth without interruption, and was part of law enforcement efforts against violations of social norms in public spaces.

He also appealed to the public to continue to play an active role in keeping the environment conducive and free from practices that violate public order.
