The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) has arrested six women suspected of being Commercial Sex Workers (PSK) during an operation in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, from Wednesday, July 30, until early this morning.
Secretary of the Bogor Regency Satpol PP, Anwar Anggana, said the activity was a follow-up to public reports that were restless with immoral activities in a number of nightclubs.
The operation was carried out based on Bogor Regency Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2015 concerning Public Order and Bogor Regent Regulation Number 81 of 2021 concerning Procedures for Controlling Perda and/or Perbup Violations.
"This operation was carried out to maintain public order and community morality. We found six women who were indicated to practice prostitution, as well as one man suspected of being a service user," said Anwar in Cibinong, Thursday, as quoted by Antara.
He said the arrests were made at the DNZ karaoke entertainment venue located on Jalan Raya Cikaret, Harapan Jaya Village, Cibinong District. All suspected violators were taken to the Satpol PP office for further examination and data collection.
