JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Sihmirmo Adi as the President Director of PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (SCC) or Telkomsigma for the 2019-2020 period today, July 31. He and 5 other people were investigated in connection with the alleged corruption of the PT Pertamina (Persero) public gas station digitization project.

"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters, Thursday, July 31.

Apart from Sihmirmo Adi, the five people summoned by the KPK were Mokhtar Ismail as General Manager of the Procurement Group, Hari Prasetyo as Manager of the Pertamina Channel Digitalization Operation-PT, Imam Santoso as Director of Operations of PT PINS for the 2018-2020 period, Iwan Gunawan as General Manager Network & ICT Service Delivery PINS 2018-2020, and Bunyamin as AVP Logistics at PT PINS Indonesia 2018-2020.

Budi has not detailed the material for the examination of these six people. They were summoned in their capacity as witnesses.

"The KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses suspected of corruption related to the digitization project of PT Pertamina (Persero) gas stations for the 2018-2023 period," he said.

The KPK also examined the President Director of PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (SCC) or Telkomsigma for the 2014-2018 period, Iscriono Windiarjanto as a witness in this case on Wednesday, July 30. He was questioned for his role in the procurement process which led to a presumptuous practice.

Iscriono was examined with four witnesses, namely Surya Fachrudiansyah as VP Finance of PT PINS for the 2015-2019 period and Senior Advisor of EBIS Telkom for the 2020-2022 period; Hendriyanto as President Director of PT Sempuma Global Pertama; Raden Juwita Suhesti as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi for the 2018-present period; and Dicky Maturama who is the Operational Manager of PT PCS for the 2019-2022 period.

"Investigators are investigating their knowledge and role in the process of procuring the digitization of PT Pertamina (Persero) gas stations for the 2018-2019 period," Budi said in a written statement yesterday.

Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Pertamina (Persero). This time, the connection with the digitization project of public refueling stations (SPBU) allegedly occurred in 2019-2023.

To investigate this case, the anti-corruption commission has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named but have not been officially announced.

From the information gathered, the three suspects are DR and W from PT Telkom and E as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi.

Acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said this case ensnared PT Telkom because they were working on a digitization project. In the process, it is suspected that there was too much to pay, causing state losses which are still being calculated.

"Well, that's why most of the suspects here (suspects, ed) are from PT Telkom. This is the executor. The first one (Pertamina, ed) is the owner of the program," Asep told reporters quoted on Friday, July 25.

This digitization process is called when Pertamina enforces a policy of using quick response (QR) codes for customers who buy subsidized fuel. "This takes it from the calculation of how much was issued," he explained.
