Saifullah or familiarly called Gus Ipul explained that in early August, the Ministry of Social Affairs would launch a People's School at 37 points that could accommodate more than 9,700 students with 1,500 teachers and more than 2,000 educators.
Then, the Ministry of Social Affairs plans to add People's Schools at 50 points starting next September.
After running for two weeks, both students and teachers at the People's School have undergone the School Environment Recognition Period (MPLS).
"Everything is just starting to get to know each other, but the curriculum with the learning equipment has been prepared by the Task Force (People's School)," said Gus Ipul.
In addition to reporting on the People's School, the Minister of Social Affairs also reported about improving the distribution of social assistance (bansos) so that the recipients were right on target.
