Investigate The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Diplomat Case, Police Confiscate 103 Evidences To Check 24 Witnesses

JAKARTA - The police confiscated 103 pieces of evidence in an effort to reveal the cause of the death of the Deputy Expert Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) Arya Daru Pangayunan.

Director of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wira Satya Triputra said hundreds of pieces of evidence were confiscated from various locations.

"From the crime scene carried out, both at the crime scene and elsewhere where the victim had passed, investigators secured 103 types of evidence," Wira told reporters, Tuesday, July 29.

But no further details regarding what evidence was confiscated. It is only mentioned that investigators divide into three clusters.

The first cluster, the evidence obtained from the Arya Daru Pangayunan office or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Second, it was confiscated from the boarding house.

Meanwhile, the third cluster is evidence obtained from families and parties who had contact or communicated with Arya Daru Pangayunan.

"Investigators secured evidence from the victim's family and other witnesses," he said.

Not only evidence, Wira also explained that his party had examined 24 witnesses who were also divided into several clusters. Starting from the work environment to those who had interacted with Arya Daru Pangayunan.

"To clarify 24 people, which we actually invited 26 but there are still two who have not had the opportunity to attend," said Wira.

Arya Daru Pangayunan was found dead in the 'Gues House Gondia' in the 105th room, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

When found, the body of Arya Daru Pangayunan was covered in plastic and duct tape in yellow.
