Ojol Representatives Who Don't Have Accounts Make FGD Ricuh Kemenhub

JAKARTA - The discussion group forum (FGD) related to online motorcycle taxis (ojol) held by the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) was chaotic. There are participants who claim to be driver representatives but are suspected of not having an active account.

This discussion was held at the Redtop Hotel, Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 24. The activity was attended by representatives of agencies, institutions, stakeholders and the ojol community to discuss issues related to online motorcycle taxis such as tariff increases, profit sharing, partnership status, and others.

"From the start of the event, it also seems that it is no longer conducive," said Erna as Public Responsive Unit (URC) in a written statement, Saturday, July 26.

Erna said the URC, which was one of the participants, from the start saw an obscure interruption. "Moreover (drivers, red) four-wheeled. Of them, they felt they were not invited to the event," he said.

"Which turns out to be FGD is a special agenda for ojol, not taksol (online taxis) or couriers," continued Erna.

Meanwhile, Danny Stepanus, Chairman of the Indonesian Online Ojek Community (MOOSI) highlighted the lack of strict supervision by the Ministry of Transportation in the FGD activities. He said, many names who were not invited were actually present as participants.

"There are even some people who are not allowed to enter because their names cannot actually enter because they admit to the officers that they are part of the URC or other communities who are invited only to be included in the event," Danny said.

In addition, Danny also highlighted individuals from the 'victim of applicators' groups such as the Guard and SPAI. They are considered to have conveyed irrelevant interruptions.

"The funny thing is, the victim's camp even forced the applicator to speak even though he did not have an account, plus he called for all parties, including the Ministry of Transportation, who did not have an account to leave the room. Wong, when he talks about his brain being used first, when he has an event, he is told to leave," he said.

"If you admit it, you represent ojol, all of Indonesia, you don't have an ojol account. You continue to know where the suffering of the ojol on the road came from, how were the facts on the road," he concluded.
