Tempted To Join Golkar, Arteria Dahlan PDIP: I'm Puan Maharani's Subordinate

PDIP Perjuangan politician Arteria Dahlan was teased by the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Adies Kadir, to join his party. Adies teased Arteria for failing to sit back as a member of the DPR because he had to resign for the grandson of the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno.

When confirmed after filling out a discussion held at the Golkar Party DPP, Arteria emphasized that he was a subordinate who was loyal to the Chairman of the PDIP DPP as well as the Chairman of the DPR, Puan Maharani.

"I am one of her subordinates, Mrs. Puan Maharani. I am grateful that so far, in my time, Adies was accepted like this, but still we have a leader named Mrs. Puan," said Arteria at the Golkar Party DPP office, Slipi, Jakarta, Thursday, July 24.

"We remain loyal to him. Maybe at this time he is Adies, Bang Dasco, who might feel sorry for me being given a busy life like this, being a speaker, being a resource person," continued the former member of Commission III of the DPR.

Instead of refusing, Arteria, who is now a lawyer, admitted to respecting Adies Kadir's offer. He considered the Golkar Party to be a warehouse for smart people but he remained loyal to the bull party.

"This (Golkar) is a smart person's warehouse, and of course it's more objective here. But again, our name is taught to remain loyal. I will continue to participate in Mrs. Puan, hopefully we will do our best," said Arteria.

It is known, in the decree signed by KPU Chairman Mochammad Afifuddin dated Friday, September 27, 2024, Romy Soekarno's name was determined as a candidate for the elected legislature from the PDIP electoral district VI East Java. Romy himself is the son of Rachmawati Soekarnoputri.

The reason for the replacement of the elected candidate was because the previously elected candidate Sri Rahayu resigned, while his successor Arteria Dahlan also resigned.

When asked about the position of commissioner at PT Petro Kimia Gresik, Arteria said Adies was just joking. Currently, he admits that he has no other activity besides being a resource person.

"That's a joke, Mr. Adies Kadir, I'm still there, yes, I fill the event every day, I'm a resource person like this, my friends have never invited me," he said.

Previously, Adies Kadir teased Arteria to join the Golkar Party. Adies even said that Arteria is now a commissioner after no longer serving in parliament.

"My friend, Mr. Arteria Dahlan, congratulations on being elected as commissioner of PT Petro Kimia Gresik," he said.

Adies said he had made an offer to Arteria, but the PDIP cadre was still hesitant to join Golkar.

"I'm leaking, here we are internally. The red one is SOKSI, not from the others. I've offered it, sir, I'm just still doubtful, there's no follow-up yet. Even though now, if it's here, the leader is also at Golkar," said Adies.

"My friends who always think smart, think carefully and think quickly in every step. So if you lose yesterday, don't say you don't think smartly and quickly. It was defeated yesterday by the system internally," continued the Deputy Speaker of the DPR.
