68 Red And White Cooperatives In Bogor City Have Been Formed

BOGOR - Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A Rachim, said that 68 Red and White Cooperatives in Bogor City had been formed and on July 23, 2025, the deed of establishment or amendment would be submitted to be immediately registered with the relevant directorate general.

In accordance with the direction of President Prabowo Subianto and the Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan, Dedie Rachim said that cooperatives are expected to be able to help solve various problems of people in the region, such as online gambling, online loans, and others, through loan and distribution schemes in accordance with banking regulations.

For this reason, cooperatives must carry out professional steps, starting from recruiting members and administrators, to managing a bankable budget, or fulfilling the requirements so that it can be accepted by the banking system.

"The point is that it must be professional, because this is really the people's economy that was built. So, you can't play games," said Dedie Rachim.

Dedie Rachim also emphasized that 68 urban villages in Bogor City that have cooperatives must ensure the involvement of members, because they will first receive benefits from the existence of cooperatives.

Meanwhile, in Bentangan Village, Wonosari District, Klaten Regency, President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that cooperatives are a tool for the struggle of the small people to become economically strong.

The President also said that the launch of 80,081 cooperatives was not a small step, but a strategic national movement to cut economic dominance by big parties that had been hampering the progress of the people.

"Today we launched an institutional 80,000 Village Cooperatives and Cooperatives of Red and White Villages, to be precise 80,081 cooperatives. Today is a historic day. We are starting a big business. This cooperative is a big strategic business," said President Prabowo.

More than just institutional legality, President Prabowo said these cooperatives would be supported by real infrastructure, such as warehouses, cold storage, grocery outlets, pharmacies, and logistics vehicles. In addition, there will also be super micro loan facilities to facilitate the distribution of goods and accelerate the turnover of the village economy.

The launch event was then marked by the pressing of the siren button by President Prabowo as a symbol of the start of the big Red and White Cooperative movement to realize the economic independence of the Indonesian people.
