Kaesang Pangarep Re-elected As General Chair Of PSI

JAKARTA - Kaesang Pangarep was re-elected as chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). The youngest son of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, was announced to be the chairman again after defeating two other candidate candidates for chairman in the PSI Grand Election which was held in Solo, Central Java.

"Congratulations to the winner, Mas Kaesang, who won 65.28 percent of the vote," said PSI Steering Committee Chair Andy Budiman, at the PSI Congress at Graha Saba Buana, Solo, Central Java, Saturday, July 19.

Kaesang who received serial number 02 was significantly superior to caketum number 01, Ronald A Sinaga or Bro Ron and caketum number 03, Agus Mulyono through a virtual or e-voting vote.

Kaesang received a vote of 65.28 percent. Meanwhile, Bro Ron got 22.23 percent. Meanwhile, Agus Mulyono got 12.49 percent.

As an incumbent, Kaesang is mostly promoted by the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) and the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) compared to two other general chairman candidates.

Kaesang was promoted by 10 PSI DPWs and 78 PSI DPDs. Meanwhile, Bro Ron was carried by 6 PSI DPWs and 36 PSI DPDs and Agus Herlambang carried 6 PSI DPWs and 24 PSI DPDs
