Will You Meet The Head Of RT Gen Z In Viral Jakut? Rano Karno: Already With The Mayor

JAKARTA - The Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta has minimal response or virality of the generation Z youth who is the head of the RT in Rawa Badak Selatan Village, Koja District, North Jakarta.

When asked about the possibility to meet or invite the head of the RT named Sahdan Arya Maulana to the DKI Jakarta City Hall to give his appreciation, Rano said that this had been represented by the Mayor of North Jakarta.

"Well, the mayor has called him," said Rano when met at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Wednesday, July 16.

North Jakarta Mayor Hendra Hidayat invited Sahdan to his office on Tuesday, July 15 to give his appreciation. During the meeting, Hendra Sahdan was able to motivate other young generations to be able to contribute and benefit the community.

In view of the status of generation Z, Sahdan, who was successfully elected democratically as Chair of RT 07 RW 08, Rawa Badak Selatan Village, Koja District, North Jakarta.

"Alhamdulillah, I won with 126 votes, while my opponent got 17 votes," he said during an interview on Monday, July 14, 2025.

When he first took office, Sahdan and his team received various responses from the surrounding community. Many provide support and there are also some who doubt the leadership of the Gen Z era.

"Some say Gen Z is lazy, can't work, or there won't be development," he said, smiling.

In the time of his leadership which has only been running for two months, Sahdan's work in the spotlight is road casting. The road casting, which had gone viral, did not use government funds but used contributions from local residents.

Sahdan added, development and other programs use funds from the Government's Operational Cost (BOP) of Rp. 2,000,000 per month. "My principle is that humans are of the best benefit to others," he added.
