Russia's Ministry Of Defense Receives New Sukhoi Su-35S Fighter Jet

"The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has sent a number of new Su-35S fighter jets to the Ministry of Defense based on orders for weapons procurement," Rostec said.

"This new 4++ generation fighter jet has passed a full factory test cycle in various operational conditions and has flown towards the airfield," the country's company said, quoted by TASS July 8.

Rostec's First Deputy CEO, Vladimir Artyakov, said Russian pilots praised these fighter jets as the best in his class. These jets can use a wide range of weapons at all altitudes and velocities, as well as be able to meet the most difficult piloting and fighting techniques.

"These fighter jets display the best flying quality, excellent characteristics of navigation and vision systems. These aircraft are able to fulfill all missions and bring wins closer," he said.

Sementara, CEO UAC Vadim Badekha mengatakan perusahaannya berupaya untuk mempertahankan laju produksi jet tempur yang tinggi.

"We plan to increase production effectiveness by 30 percent by 2030. This will help generate significant production volume based on gun procurement orders that will surpass last year's high numbers," he explained.

The Sukhoi Su-35S (Flanker-E+ according to NATO classification) is a 4++ generation multi-manuver fighter jet that has been deeply enhanced, designed with fifth-generation technology.

The Su-35S is distinguished by a new digital avionic complex, a new radar with passive gradual antenna arrays, and an increase in the number of targets tracked and attacked simultaneously, plasma engine with a larger capacity and control vector.

The engine is equivalent to a fifth-generation fighter jet because it is able to achieve supersonic speed without thrust. Su-35S is a significant increase from Su-27.

Su-35S has a glider that is reinforced and without front horizontal fins and a flip brake. The braking when landing is done by turning the steering to various sides.
