"On Thursday (10/7) at around 23.00 WIB, the Unit 4 Sub-Directorate 3 team of the Narcotics Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police immediately conducted an investigation and succeeded in securing a man with the initials S, a resident of West Jakarta, who was suspected of being involved in the distribution of methamphetamine," he said.

Furthermore, the team carried out initial interrogation and obtained further information about the presence of other narcotics in a boarding house in the Grogol Petamburan area, West Jakarta.

"The team immediately carried out developments and carried out raids in the boarding room on Jalan Perdana Kusuma, West Jakarta," said Ade Candra.

He mentioned that at that location, the police secured two other men, each with the initials D and A, and found 11 large packs of methamphetamine weighing a total of 11,000 grams in black suitcases.

"In addition to methamphetamine, a number of other pieces of evidence were also secured, namely digital scales, large plastic clips, and several cell phones," he said.

Ade Candra detailed the evidence confiscated at TKP 1 (Depok), namely two clips of methamphetamine weighing two grams, one digital scale, and 1 cellphone and one suspect with the initials S.

Meanwhile, at TKP 2 (West Jakarta) there were 11 packs of methamphetamine weighing 11 kg, two digital scales, two plastic clip packs, and six cellphones, two suspects with the initials D and A.

"This methamphetamine comes from the Sumatra network, which is planned to be circulated in Jakarta and its surroundings," explained Ade Candra.

Furthermore, the suspect and evidence were secured at the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate building for further investigation.
