In Addition To Asking To Create A Flyover, The Bekasi Walkot Hopes That The DKI Provincial Government Will Send Heavy Equipment To Order Buildings

JAKARTA - Bekasi Mayor (Walkot) Tri Ardhianto visited the DKI Jakarta City Hall to meet the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung. Tri and Pramono discussed the continuation of the cooperation between the two Jabodetabek areas.

At the meeting, Tri mentioned Bekasi's request to the DKI Provincial Government to build two flyovers or flyovers leading to the Bantargebang TPST, namely in the Kemang Pratama area and the Bantargebang Market.

In addition to making a flyover, Tri also asked Pramono for help in sending heavy equipment needed by the Bekasi City Government in controlling buildings in his area.

"Hopefully this will be realized, including the support of the Governor of Jakarta in the context of our needs related to heavy equipment to curb buildings that then disrupt existing waterways and rivers. Including rivers that then lead to DKI Jakarta," said Tri at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, July 8.

Regarding the construction of the flyover, Tri admitted that the Bekasi City Government has submitted a request for development to the DKI Provincial Government several years ago. This request is related to the cooperation in managing Jakarta waste that was disposed of to Bantargebang.

Finally, at the meeting, Tri revealed that Pramono expressed the DKI Provincial Government's willingness to build the two necessary flyovers.

"There is a willingness from the DKI Jakarta Government to then build two additional flyovers. So that it will run smoothly, so that more quickly this waste reaches the outlets so that it does not have any impact, yes, health for the community in Bekasi," explained Tri.

In addition, Pramono and Tri also discussed cooperation in providing clean water between the BUMD PAM Jaya owned by the DKI Provincial Government and Tirta Patriot owned by Bekasi. Pramono revealed that later, PAM Jaya will help Tirta Patriot supply clean water for Bekasi residents.

"We can produce more clean water, so that some of it will then be distributed to Bekasi so that the cooperation that will be carried out in the field by PAM Jaya with Tirta Patriot. I have agreed, the Mayor has also agreed, so that it will be followed up immediately," explained Pramono.

Then, Pramono ensured that the cooperation agreement for waste management at the Bantargebang TPST which ended in 2026 would be extended for the next five years.
