17 Police Generals Rise Rank, One Of Them Is Komjen Winarto

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially inaugurated 17 High Officers (Pati) who received promotions at a higher level. One of them is the Commissioner General (Komjen) Winarto.

It is known that Komjen Winarto was transferred as a new official at the State Intelligence Agency (BIN). Previously, he served as South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Police Chief. Now, this position is now filled by Inspector General Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan, who previously served as Deputy Chief of Police of South Kalimantan

Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, said that this promotion was a form of appreciation for the dedication and integrity of high-ranking police officers.

"This promotion is not only a structural award, but also a form of greater trust and responsibility to high-ranking officers to continue to give the best service to institutions and the community," Trunoyudo said in his statement, Monday, July 7.

In addition, the National Police emphasized that they will continue to encourage career development that is professional and with integrity for all personnel.

"Strong leadership, professionalism, and the spirit of service are the main things that continue to be instilled in the National Police as a precise transformation of the Police," said Trunoyudo.

Meanwhile, the promotion was as stated in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 54/Polri/2025 dated July 2, 2025, concerning the Promotion and in the Pati-Polri Group.

Not only Komjen Winarto, there were six regents who rose to the rank of Inspector General (Irjen) or two stars, and ten Pati others rose to the rank of Brigadier General (Brigjen) or one star.
