The Bali Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) has stated that it is ready to dismantle illegal lodging and restaurant buildings on Bingin Beach and oversee the overcut of the height of the Step Up Jimbaran hotel building which violates regulations.
"They want to admit that they agreed that it was not their property (land) that had been occupied for business activities," said Head of Bali Satpol PP Dewa Nyoman Rai Dharmadi in Denpasar, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, July 5.
"If Step Up doesn't mind because it has become a recommendation from the council and we have also found more heights," he continued.
It is known that on Bingin Beach there are 48 tourism buildings in the form of lodging and restaurants that stand on state land, they also violate because it is a local protection area.
After receiving the recommendation of the Bali DPRD and writing to entrepreneurs, finally the first, second, and third warning letters were sent and today the Bali Satpol PP stated that all the buildings would be demolished.
"So we will dismantle 48 buildings at Bingin Beach, of course the demolition will be carried out by the Badung Satpol PP and financed by the Badung Regency Government," said Rai Dharmadi.

Initially, the businessmen objected even though they admitted their mistake, but because they had been confirmed to have violated it, the execution was carried out waiting for a warrant from the Badung Regent because the demolition other than being independent by entrepreneurs was also carried out with Badung APBD funds.
"They have also submitted a letter to us, so if there is a legal effort, please continue the rights of the community, which is certain that it is state land and they have admitted that it is state land, not individual rights," said Rai Dharmadi.
At the same time, the Bali Satpol PP also asked the person in charge of the Step Up Jimbaran hotel project to cut the height of their building which violated the rules.
Previously, the Bali DPRD stated that Step Up had also violated the commensurate ravines and beaches, from the Bali Provincial Government's search based on the Badung Regent Regulation Number 59 of 2021 concerning the plan for detailed spatial planning of Badung Regency, there were no related regulations that stated they had violated them.
"So Step Up with the previous findings stated that there was a height of 1.58 meters that had been followed up to stop his activities, cut the height excess but could not be completed one day, but he agreed," he said.
In addition, it concerns directions that the building containing Bali ornaments has also been agreed upon to be carried out at the time of completion because the tourism accommodation building is currently still 60 percent of the work.
