The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Jules Abraham Abast, said that six Polairud ships were involved and one helicopter was to assist in the search for the victims of the KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya which sank on Wednesday (2/7) night at around 23:35 WIB on the Ketapang-Gilimanuk route.
"The Banyuwangi Police Satpolairud and 35 East Java Regional Police personnel are currently still searching," he said in his statement in Banyuwangi, East Java, Thursday, July 3.

KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya departed from the LCM Pier Ketapang Port (Banyuwangi) to Gilimanuk Port (Bali) at around 22.56 WIB.
