The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found evidence of alleged corruption in the procurement of EDC machines after searching the offices of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) or BBRI on Thursday, June 26 last week.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the forced efforts made by investigators targeted two BRI offices, namely Jalan Sudirman and Gatot Soebroto. From this activity, investigators confiscated financial records.

"There are several financial records that investigators will also investigate to see of course, where the flow of the alleged corruption proceeds will go," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, June 30.

"The investigation into the alleged corruption related to EDC procurement," said Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Fitroh Rochahyanto to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, June 26.

Fitroh has not specified the state's losses or the number of suspects in this case.
