JAKARTA - The police have arrested three youths who allegedly wanted to do a brawl in the Dam area, Jago, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Sunday, June 29, early in the morning. The 3 perpetrators had the initials MHB (24), NH (22), and MA (23).

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the arrest began when his party was conducting routine patrols. Then, get reports from the public regarding teenagers who want to do a brawl.

Meanwhile, Head of Samapta Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol William Alexander, added that the three perpetrators were taken to the Kemayoran Police Headquarters along with evidence. The goal is to carry out further investigations.

"The three of them were immediately taken to the Kemayoran Police along with evidence for further legal proceedings. We urge the public to stay away from unlawful acts that can harm themselves and others," said William.

For their actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 2 Paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 concerning Sharp Weapons, with a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
