Iran Reminds Trump To Be Angry At Ayatollah Khamenei: He Must Get Rid Of Horkmat

JAKARTA - The relationship between the United States (US) and Iran is heating up again because President Donald Trump was sparked by the statement by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran asked Trump not to be reactive in responding to Khamenei. The passionate statement was considered by Iran to have actually sparked new problems.

Trump told a news conference at the White House on Friday, June 27 local time, insisting it was possible to attack Iran again

"Of course, without question, of course," he said answering reporters' questions about the possibility of an attack on Iran.

Trump wants surveillance from the International Atomic Energy Agency - the UN nuclear watchdog to examine Iran's nuclear site after being bombed last weekend.

Trump reacted strongly to Khamanei's first statement after a 12-day conflict with Israel that ended when the United States launched a bomb attack last weekend on Iran's nuclear site.

Khamanei said Iran "slapped America's face" by launching an attack on a major US base in Qatar following a US bomb attack.

Khamanei also said Iran would never give up.

Trump said he had saved Khamanei's life.

"The country was destroyed, its three evil nuclear sites were DESTROYED, and I know THE RIGHT WHERE it took refuge, and will not allow Israel, or the US Armed Forces, which have so far been the GREATest and most powerful in the world, ending its life," Trump said in a social media post.

"I SAVED IT FROM A VERY BAD AND DISTURBING DEATH," HE SAID.

Iran says a potentially US-dependent nuclear deal ends "disrespect" against Supreme Leaders.

"If President Trump really wants an agreement, he should put aside the tone of disrespect and unacceptable to Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, and stop hurting millions of his sincere followers," Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a post on X on Saturday, June 28 in the morning.
