"The point is that the Indonesian Air Force is ready to carry out orders. From the leadership to come down, we will be ready to carry out the evacuation," he said.
Previously, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto said the TNI deployed 34 personnel who were members of a special team to evacuate Indonesian citizens (WNI) in Iran and Israel.
"The plan to evacuate Indonesian citizens (WNI) from Iran and Israel will involve the Crisis Response Team (CRT) consisting of 34 joint TNI personnel," said Head of the Information Center (Kapuspen) TNI Headquarters Major General TNI Kristomei Sianturi.
Kristomei said as many as 34 personnel are currently still in Jakarta and they are ready to receive orders if needed to evacuate Indonesian citizens while they were still Israeli, Iranian or when they arrived at Indonesian airports.
Kristomei said that based on data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are currently 578 Indonesian citizens in Iran and Israel.

Arriving in Baku, Indonesian citizens will transit for two nights before continuing their return flights to Indonesia by commercial aircraft on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
Meanwhile, the plan to evacuate Indonesian citizens from Israel is planned through Amman (Yordania), before departing by air to Indonesia.
