Kaltara Governor Zainal Arifin Paliwang Invites TNI To Synergize In Building Border Areas

TANJUNG SELOR - Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal Arifin Paliwang attended the Sambut Separate event Commander Korem 092/Maharajala in the Lt.1 Meeting Room of the Governor's Office on Monday 16 June.

This event is a strong symbol of the synergy between the provincial government (Pemprov) and defense institutions in maintaining stability and building border areas.

"I express my respect and gratitude for the dedication of Brigadier General Adek Chandra Kurniawan who during his tenure has shown a high commitment in maintaining the conduciveness of border areas and strengthening cooperation with local governments," said Governor Zainal.

"The people of Kaltara conveyed their prayers and hopes that the TNI Brigadier General Adek Chandra would always be given health and success in a new place of duty," he added.

The governor then warmly welcomed Brigadier General Mohammad Sjahroni as the new Danrem.

He believes, with his experience and capability, Brigadier General Sjahroni will be able to continue and even increase the strategic role of Korem 092/Maharajalila in maintaining state sovereignty, especially in border areas.

"Collaboration between institutions is very important to establish this to eliminate barriers of differences in ethnicity, religion, race, and class," he said.

The governor hopes that the synergy between the provincial government and defense institutions or the TNI can continue to be improved to build a more advanced and prosperous North Kalimantan.

To note, this welcoming event was also attended by a number of high-ranking officials from the TNI and Polri elements, as well as elements of the Forkopimda of North Kalimantan Province and Bulungan Regency, as well as regional heads throughout North Kalimantan.
