JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed plans to operate a Microtrans to buffer areas. The general transportation in the JakLingko system is still at a rate of Rp. 0 or free.

The Jak Lingko service offer, according to Pramono, emerged after seeing the high enthusiasm of people outside Jakarta for Transjabodetabek.

"We are thinking about the JakLingko Microtrans later, yes, if of course regional heads want it, it will operate more in buffer areas. If that's possible, hopefully it will make it easier for people to ride public transportation," said Pramono at the Abdul Muis Technical Service Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, June 11.

Pramono admitted that he had opened offers for the operation of Microtrans to a number of regional heads in the buffer zone. They, admitted Pramono, welcomed the discourse.

"It's been (communicated). Yes, because Jakarta prepared everything, everyone agreed," said Pramono.

On that occasion, Pramono revealed many requests from the public submitted through social media to open the Transjabodetabek route with routes from the Blok M area, South Jakarta, to cities in other provinces that are very far away.

"Of all the routes that were opened, which were immediately very high were PIK 2-Blok M. The second was from Bogor-Blok M. The third was Alam Sutra-Blok M. Now there are open proposals from Bandung-Blok M, Cirebon-Blok M, Surabaya-Blok M," said Pramono jokingly.

Pramono realized that the request for the Transjabodetabek route requested by residents from cities such as Bandung to Surabaya was just a joke. Because, it is impossible for the DKI Provincial Government to realize.

However, Pramono sees this as a form of public enthusiasm for the provision of public transportation at low rates from Jakarta to buffer areas.

"I witnessed myself when I opened the M-Bogor Block at a cost of Rp. 3,500, they were surprised, how come it's very cheap. The highest cost, I just found out that people from Bogor, from Bekasi and so on, were riding the motorcycle taxi. The average motorcycle taxi is Rp. 15,000-Rp. 20,000," explained Pramono.
