PALU President Prabowo Subinato through the Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding distributed sacrificial animals to residents of Palu City, Central Sulawesi, in the context of celebrating Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijriah.
The handover of the sacrificial animal took place in the Petobo Permanent Residential Area (Huntap), Palu, on Friday, June 6 after the Eid prayer.
Minister Karding, who was accompanied by the Mayor of Palu Hadianto Rasyid, said that the sacrificial animals were a form of President Prabowo Subianto's direct attention to the people of Palu, especially those affected by the earthquake and tsunami disaster several years ago.
"On the mandate of President Prabowo, I was given the mandate to hand over his sacrifice, and one of the destinations was Palu City. This is a form of direct attention from the President to the community," said Karding in front of Huntap residents Petobo as reported by the release of the Ministry of P2MI, Friday, June 6.
He emphasized that the distribution of sacrificial animals is not only a form of worship, but also a symbol of concern and friendship between the government and the people.
