JAKARTA - Investigators from the Mataram City Police, West Nusa Tenggara, have named four teenagers as suspects in the rape case against a 14-year-old woman.

Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit of the Mataram Police, Iptu Eko Ari Prastya, said that the determination of the suspect refers to the results of the case title which took place today.

"So, as a result of the case title, we have named four people as suspects," said Iptu Eko Ari as quoted by ANTARA.

The four 17-year-old suspects have the initials BA, WD, MI, and FJ. Three of them, namely BA, WD, and MI, were named as suspects suspected of committing sexual intercourse and child molestation.

Law no. 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Perppu No. 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection into Law jo. Article 55 of the Criminal Code.

"The threat of imprisonment is more than 5 years with a maximum of 15 years," he said.
