JAKARTA - The Central Java Police have mapped the whereabouts of 11 community organizations (ormas) in Central Java which are suspected of being affiliated with acts of thuggery.

Central Java Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Pol. Latif Usman said this was based on the disclosure of various cases during the two weeks of the 2025 Candi Safe Operation.

The 11 mass organizations suspected of being affiliated with thuggery include Pemuda Pancasila, GRIB Jaya, Sanek, PSHT 16, PSHT Winongo, Gank Santa Cruz Solo, Pagar Nusa, and NGO Gambi and Tigers.

In the operation which was held from 12 to 31 May 2025, he said, the Central Java Regional Police and the regional police in this province secured 916 perpetrators of various crimes.

Of these, he continued, 33 suspects were known to be affiliated with a number of mass organizations.

In disclosing various cases of thuggery, according to him, evidence was also secured in the form of 23 cars, 65 motorbikes, and dozens of sharp weapons.

He said the prominent cases found during the implementation of the 2025 Candi Safe Operations could be resolved.

He emphasized that the police will continue to make prevention efforts through patrols and crossings to community activity centers.

Therefore, he expects input from the public, especially for locations that have not been reached by the police, but are suspected of having activities that disrupt security and order.

"Things with thuggery style and threatening community activities, since childhood must be eliminated immediately, do not become a big threat," he said in Semarang, Tuesday, as reported by Antara.
