JAKARTA - The Civil Society Coalition consisting of Greenpeace Indonesia, LBH Jakarta, Urban Tour Consortium, and the Urban Poor People's Network (JRMK) visited DKI Jakarta City Hall to provide critical notes on the performance of DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung-Rano Karno.
The Civil Society Coalition revealed their dissatisfaction with Pramono-Rano's performance in the first 100 days leading Jakarta, referring to the Governor's Instruction Number e-0001 of 2025 concerning the Implementation of the 100 Days Program for Governors and Deputy Governors.
"The results of 100 days of the performance of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta 2025-2030, we consider that there is a lot of dissatisfaction, both from the work program which was prepared through the Ingub e-0001 of 2025, as well as its implementation," said Greenpeace Indonesia Climate Justice Campaign Officer Jeanny Sirait, Monday, June 2.
There are 8 points of dissatisfaction with Pramono-Rano's performance brought by the Civil Society Coalition. These include coastal management and small islands, waste management, job fulfillment, problems with Bayam Village residents, urban agrarian reforms, draft regional regulations for legal assistance, public services and bureaucracy, as well as evictions.
Several examples of his critical notes, Jeanny said, Pramono had promised to build Giant Mangrove Wall to protect coastal areas from tidal flooding. However, within 100 working days, there has been no concrete planning in the program.
Planning for the construction of embankments in the coastal area of Jakarta is still focused on Giant Sea Wall. In fact, Jeanny highlighted that there are plans to eviction residential areas from the construction of embankments.

"We submitted a recommendation that Giant Sea Wall or embankment should not be a permanent single solution, but should also be accompanied by mangrove revitalization," said Jeanny.
Regarding the opening of employment opportunities, Pramono-Rano actually started to carry out the progressm job fair at the sub-district level every 3 months. However, the Civil Society Coalition assesses that the program has not touched the root of the problem.
"We can see that the job fair plan in the sub-district is not accompanied by training, with special readiness from job applicants. One of them is to ensure that there are environmentally friendly job opportunities, which also involve their citizens," he explained.
In addition, the Civil Society Coalition also regrets that Pramono-Rano does not seem serious in prioritizing the formation of a legal aid Raperda for Jakarta residents. In fact, the draft preparation of this regulation was driven by a coalition for decades.
"What we are doing today should not be seen as merely criticism, it should not be seen as a mere evaluation, but must also be seen as an effort to participate in citizens in determining the future of their city. It would be very happy of course if this participation was welcomed by the governor in the next 5 years," added Jeanny.
