Prabowo And Macron One Helicopter To Akmil Magelang

JAKARTA - A moment of familiarity was seen when President Prabowo Subianto and French President Emmanuel Macron took off together to the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang, Central Java.

The helicopter the two of them were traveling in took off using the Police AW-189 helicopter.

Previously, President Prabowo arrived at Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) first. Upon arrival at the airport, President Prabowo went straight to the waiting room to wait for President Macron and a delegation from France.

Reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 29, moments later, the plane carrying President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron landed at YIA Airport. Both were greeted by relevant officials before then walking to the VVIP waiting room to meet President Prabowo.

After meeting, the two heads of state seemed to talk for a moment before heading to the helicopter that had been prepared on the side of the runway.

On this trip, President Prabowo and President Macron were also in the same Maung vehicle to head for the helicopter take-off, reflecting the closeness and harmony of relations between the two leaders.

Arriving at Akmil Magelang, President Prabowo and President Macron are scheduled to attend the official welcoming ceremony, conduct a review of educational facilities, as well as lunch with cadets and cadets in the Akmil environment.

This joint journey with the two heads of state is an important part of a series of President Macron's state visits in Indonesia, which also emphasizes the close relationship of strategic cooperation between Indonesia and France, especially in the field of defense and military education.

Participating with President Prabowo and President Macron on the flight to the Magelang Military Academy were Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
