Prabowo And Macron Rise Maung Check Troops At Akmil Magelang

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto and French President Emmanuel Macron boarded a Maung tactical vehicle to inspect troops during the ceremony to welcome President Macron at the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang, Central Java.

Reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 29, on top of Maung, President Prabowo, who wore a gray suit and wore a black cap standing on the right side.

Meanwhile, President Macron, wearing a dark blue suit, stood on Prabowo's left side. President Prabowo and Macron saw the readiness of the cadets who lined up neatly in the middle of the ceremonial field.

Along the way, Macron appeared to have lowered his head several times to salute the troops.

During the inspection procession, the drumband troops played a number of national songs such as "Ingent Maju" and "Hello Bandung". The checking of the troops lasted about four minutes.

After the troop inspection, President Prabowo Subianto received a service award from the Government of the Republic of France, in the form of the highest honor award "Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor".

President Prabowo accompanied President Macron to visit Akmil Magelang to review language laboratories, as well as education and military training, then the visit was continued to Borobudur Temple as one of the wonders of the world owned by Indonesia.

This series of activities in Magelang has been the closing of Macron's official visit while in Indonesia from 27-29 May 2025. Indonesia is one of President Macron's state trips in the Indo-Pacific region, after Vietnam.

After his visit to Indonesia, Macron continued his visit to Singapore.
