DKI Regional Secretary Reported To KPK, Stafsus Pramono: There Is Hope That Praduga Is Innocent

JAKARTA - Special Staff to the Governor of DKI Jakarta for Public Communication, Chico Hakim opened his voice regarding the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary (Sekda) Marullah Matali who was reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on suspicion of abuse of office.

Currently, the DKI Provincial Government has not been seen to follow up internally on Marullah's position, which is now being reported to the KPK. What is clear is that Chico emphasized that there was a presumption of innocence that positioned everyone as innocent until a court decision was made.

"We will definitely follow up. Internally we will follow up. Everything will definitely work. We'll wait for how. Of course, there is the principle of presumption of innocence," Chico told reporters, Tuesday, May 27.

Moreover, the DKI Provincial Government is still waiting for confirmation of the level of violation to determine the disciplinary punishment if Marullah is found guilty. For example, such as entering the criminal realm or disciplinary government employees.

"If that's the case, there must be proof first. So we respect the legal process. We respect anyone who complains or provides a report, that's also the right of citizens. But we hope that this legal process will be allowed to run first," Chico explained.

It is known that Marullah allegedly abused his authority to give positions for his son, MFM alias Kiky and his nephew, FS as the Acting Head of the Regional Asset Management Agency for the Province of Jakarta.

Quoted from the circulating report letter, Marullah is said to have appointed Kiky as an expert in the Regional Secretary. This process is said to have violated the rules within the Jakarta Provincial Government and the code of ethics.

After being appointed as an expert, his son made a special room adjacent to Marullah's room. Kiky is also suspected of intimidating the President Director of BUMD and the Head of SKPD for the benefit of his father.

It didn't stop there, Kiky also arranged projects within the Jakarta Provincial Government. In fact, the winner of the auction must have his permission.

In addition, Kiky allegedly forced that Bank DKI customer insurance be given to the company he offered. Similar practices were also carried out on the President Director of BUMD PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).

Kiky, still in the same report, allegedly ordered the President Director of Pasar Jaya to hand over parking management to the company he offered.

Apart from Kiky, Marullah also appointed his nephew with the initials FS as the Head of the Jakarta Provincial Asset Management Agency. In fact, he previously served as Head of the Jakarta BPAD Tribe.

After occupying the position, FS then asked for a periodic deposit. The goal is for the security of the police and the prosecutor's office.

Finally, Marullah was also reported for appointing C, who was previously the Deputy Mayor of Central Jakarta, to be the Head of the Regional Personnel Agency. Allegedly, C bought and sold positions with various nominal numbers.

For echelon III's position, in the report, C said, it set a tariff of IDR 300 million.

The report was later confirmed by the KPK. Although it was not disclosed in detail, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo's report was said to have been held last week and would be reviewed.
