The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police arrested a man with the initials DP (27) who was found carrying 5.6 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 5,020 ecstasy pills in the Depok area, West Java.

The police arrested the suspect in two different locations who were still in the Gang Panus area, Pancoran Mas, Depok.
"Initially the perpetrator was arrested when he was about to bring black plastic containing two packages of crystal methamphetamine in Chinese tea packages," he said.
From the first location, the police secured more than 2.1 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
"When officers came to the suspect's boarding house to carry out developments, it turned out that more evidence was found," he said.

In the boarding room, four other packages of methamphetamine were found in a similar package with a total weight of 5.6 kg of evidence, and a large pack containing 5,020 green ecstasy pills was found.
"Based on the suspect's confession, the items came from Medan and are planned to be circulated in Jakarta and its surroundings," said Ade Chandra.
"The suspect DP and evidence are currently being secured at Polda Metro Jaya for further investigation," he added.
