The Ombudsman emphasized the importance of reform in the implementation of the New Student Admission System (SPMB) to ensure the quality and accountability of education in Indonesia.
Chairman of the Ombudsman Mokhammad Najih said that the SPMB and the New Student Admissions route (PPDB) have faced various problems, ranging from ineffective regulations, weak supervision, to maladministration practices.
"In general, problems occur due to the implementation of regulations that are not optimal, resulting in gaps in irregularities and polemics in the field," Najih said in the thematic forum of Bakohumas, as confirmed in Jakarta, Monday, May 26, which was confiscated by Antara.
