"The incident (alleged sexual abuse) occurred in September 2024, the crime scene (TKP) around the environment of one of the cottages in Punten Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City," Andi said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 22.
The obscenity case that befell the two female students occurred in September 2024, where the victims were then 7 years and 10 years old.
"The age of a 10-year-old victim from Jember and his 7-year-old student from Probolinggo," he said.
Andi stated that AMH was not a management or teaching staff but was still a relative of the owner of the Islamic boarding school.
"His house (the perpetrator) is in Punten Village, AMH is not part of the educators, owners, or administrators of the cottage but he is really a guest," he said.
The sexual abuse was exposed after the victims reported AMH's actions to his parents.

After that, the victim's parents immediately reported AMH's actions to the Batu Police, in January 2025. From that process, the police officers also asked for information from the two female students.
"The conclusion is that the victim's statement is consistent and can be accounted for as a key witness statement. We have asked for six witnesses," he said.
