Shocking! Munarman's Leg Was Shot While Fighting Officers, Check The Facts!

JAKARTA - A YouTube account called Scheme Politik uploaded a video with a cover of Munarman being carried by the police. The title was then written, "Trying to Fight the Officer, Munarman Didoor in Place".

"Shocking! The fate of FP1 officials is over. Trying to fight the officer, Munarman Didoor in place," wrote the narrative in the picture quoted from era.id

After a search was carried out, it was reported on the turnbackhoax.id page that the news that Munarman was walking with a stick was a hoax. The cover image on the youtube video has actually been edited using another image.

Through a Google image search, the original image used on the cover of the video turned out to be a picture of a prisoner from Malang Police who was shot after trying to escape. This article from Detikcom and Malangvoice shows the detainee walking with a cane assisted by an officer. The clerk in the photo of the article is the same as the officer on the cover of the Youtube video.

If you look at the contents of the video, there is no statement that states that Munarman had been shot by officers and had to walk with a cane. The video only reports on the Munarman case and the chronology of the arrests.

Munarman himself was reported to have been arrested by the Anti-Terror Special Detachment (Densus) 88 at his residence in the Pamulang area, South Tangerang on Tuesday (27/4/2021) afternoon. He was arrested on suspicion of his involvement in the embryo of ISIS in UIN Jakarta, Medan and Makassar.

The former lawyer, Rizieq Shihab, is also said to have played a role in creating the JAD and ISIS network in Indonesia.

After his arrest, Munarman was then detained at the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Detention Center. Until now, there has not been any development related to this case.

So it can be concluded that the photo mentioned is a photo of Munarman walking with a stick because he was shot by officers, is a hoax in the category of misleading content or misleading content.
