JAKARTA - The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) not only underwent an examination related to the fake diploma case at Bareskrim Polri. Jokowi also took back the diploma that had been handed over to investigators.
"I fulfilled the invitation and at the same time I took the diploma when I was delivered to the Criminal Investigation Unit," Jokowi told reporters at Bareskrim Polri, Tuesday, May 20.
Jokowi's certificate was previously handed over by a family representative, namely Wahyudi Andrianto or Andri, who is Jokowi's brother-in-law, to investigators on May 9.
But Jokowi is still reluctant to show his diploma to the public. The reason is that this matter will be done if requested by the court.
"We will open the certificate when requested by the court by the judge," said Jokowi.
Bareskrim Polri is still investigating the alleged fake diploma case belonging to Jokowi. The management was based on a report made by the Head of the Ulema and Activist Defenders Team (TPUA), Eggi Sudjana.
